Almost seven in 10 Canadians think immigration has been good for Canada, although fewer of them see the influx of newcomers as being positive for their own neighbourhoods. Residents of Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia are the most enthusiastic, while Quebecers tend to be more cautious.
